Hola!
From all the music that I've been listening this week, there is one group, that I enjoyed the most.
It's called Asturias.
I've never heard of them before.
And if I had to take a wild guess from their name, I would say that it could be a Spanish fusion prog-folk (very wild guess).
But I would have been totally wrong.
It's actually a Japanese chamber quartet!
And their sound is brilliant!
I do recommend them!
I picked their first track:

I hope you'll like it.
All the best.

That could be great fun - naming classic quartets like pop groups! Thanks for the tip! _________________ Visit Eartaste! |

Hola!
Hmmmmm ...
I guess I made a little mistake (on the other hand, my first guess wasn't too wrong).
Asturias is not exactly a Japanese classical quartet.
They are a quartet.
They are from Japan.
In their previous titles (this is their fourth one) they started playing prog music (which was my first guess).
So ... let's say I was 50 % right ... and then, another 50 % more, but not exactly 100 % correct.
Anyway ... sorry for the mistake.
To put things correctly, please check this: http://www.progressiveworld.net/asturias.html
I still think that their music is terrific.
So, if you have the chance, please listen to it.
All the best.
Jorge. |

Interesting stuff Jorge!
Great music for driving around.
The tune you posted sounds like more than a quartet playing.
Some of the players must be switching instruments.
I'll keep an eye open for these guys. |
